JOB RESPONSIBILITIES As a substitute support assistant in short-term placement for children, youth, and young adults, you work to ensure that people with various disabilities receive the right support for an independent life. You should be able to adapt your work according to the customer's wishes and needs and always strive to involve the customer. This may include being a support for communication, assistance with activities, and personal care with the customer in focus. The facility has children and young people with significant care needs including oxygen management and more. Your tasks during work shifts include documenting in the Lifecare documentation system, creating and working based on implementation plans, and collaborating with colleagues and other stakeholders in the customer's network. You become part of a great team where colleagues support each other, laugh together, and ensure that everyone feels welcome. You also work independently with customers. The operation is based on customers receiving the services they have been granted according to LSS, and together with your colleagues, you share customer responsibility with the individual's needs at the center. Working hours are day, evening, weekend, and on-call shifts according to schedule following the employment agreement. You should be aware that employment also involves working in other operations when cancellations occur with short notice, as we work with optimized staffing in Enköping Municipality. Of course, you will have completed an orientation in all operations and have delegation in areas where required. QUALIFICATIONS You adapt easily to changed circumstances and see opportunities in changes; you can quickly adjust your perspective and approach based on what the situation requires. You are calm, stable, and controlled in stressful or challenging situations and maintain a balanced perspective on situations, focusing on the right things. You are self-driven and take initiative, thus taking responsibility for your tasks. We place great emphasis on teamwork as it characterizes the operation's working methods. You need to be fluent in Swedish, both in speech and writing. It is meritorious if you have experience working with children and young adults with intellectual disabilities and autism. Knowledge of AAC and TAKK is also meritorious. You adapt easily to changed circumstances. You see opportunities in changes and can quickly adjust your perspective and approach based on what the situation requires. You are calm, stable, and controlled in stressful or challenging situations. You maintain a balanced perspective on situations and focus on the right things. You have empathetic ability and can put yourself in another person's perspective or situation without taking on their emotions. You collaborate well with other people and relate to them in a responsive and flexible way. You listen, communicate, and resolve collaboration difficulties or conflicts in a constructive manner.
