JOB DUTIES
We are seeking a substitute colleague for our social services navigator position. The role is placed in the social services administration, open care advice & services.
As a social services navigator, you will have the important task of supporting and guiding/assisting, for example, elderly residents and people with functional variations regarding services and activities within and outside municipal operations. Your goal is to promote these individuals' independence and through advice and support help them achieve self-sufficient lives. You will inform about and coordinate both the municipality's own initiatives and activities as well as offerings from private and non-profit organizations. As a social services navigator, you collaborate with the municipality's administrations and companies, and you will network with businesses, authorities, and organizations.
We offer you an exciting challenge where you and another social services navigator together are responsible for coordinating and building structures for Ljungby municipality's residents.
We are looking for someone who is service-oriented, collaborates easily with others, and enjoys supporting people.
You should be willing to take on a prominent role, such as giving presentations and informing about the operations in larger contexts, but also be accustomed to conducting individual support conversations.
As a person, we require that you are organized, engaged, driven, and able to work independently, as well as having the ability to cooperate and collaborate with multiple stakeholders.
It is meritorious if you have knowledge of Ljungby municipality and experience working with the target groups.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for someone who is a social worker or has higher education in the social/behavioral sciences field. Great weight is placed on personal suitability.
Employment form: Fixed-term employment.
Duration: 6 months or longer, start date: 2026-09-01, end date: 2027-08-31.
