About the role: You are the central figure in the residents' health and medical care initiatives and work to provide quality of life. You are responsible for ensuring that medical prescriptions are followed. You regularly conduct risk assessments and follow-ups to ensure good quality in the operations. Collaboration and support: You are part of a team with care staff, nurses, occupational therapist, and physiotherapist. An important role for you is to coach and train the care staff so that together you can give each resident as good a life as possible. In this you work closely with the home's group managers who are responsible for the care staff. Our group managers also coach and work together with the teams in the daily work. Getting to know the residents: Understanding the residents' wishes and seeing small changes in their health and medical conditions is often crucial for correct assessments and decisions. Clear routines: To create security and clarity for you as a nurse, there is comprehensive support in the form of practical and easy-to-apply routines, policy documents, and checklists. Young Care: We have a collaboration with the company Ung Omsorg. This means that a team of young people aged 14–18 visit us on weekends and holidays. Ung Omsorg does various activities together with us who work here to add something special to the lives of the residents. Animals in care: Here we work with animals in care and we have regular visits from therapy animals. Your experience and knowledge: You are a licensed nurse and we would like to see that you have worked a few years in elderly care. Our residents often have multiple illnesses and this requires that you have both comprehensive knowledge of various diseases and conditions as well as an interest in aging people. Good computer skills and experience with documentation are important.
