The licensed nurse's specific expertise is patient care. This encompasses both the scientific knowledge area and hands-on patient care grounded in a humanistic view of people. You're responsible for ensuring our residents' healthcare needs are met. As a nurse, you're responsible for and lead patient care work. This means independently, in team collaboration, and in partnership with the resident and their loved ones, taking responsibility for assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care. An important task is also to mentor, support, and train other care personnel and be a good role model for your colleagues. You work with care and dedication in everything you do, with great personal responsibility and the ability to prioritize and lead others even in changing circumstances. Flexibility and collegial collaboration are essential to the role. About Kvarnåsens Elderly Care Home Located in Årjäng municipality in Värmland County, close to the Norwegian border. Kvarnåsen is centrally situated in town near the bus stop and we're only 12 mil from Oslo. Årjäng offers rich nature with several lakes and beautiful nature reserves with hiking trails. Kvarnåsen has 92 apartments distributed across nine units. We offer dementia care, psychogeriatric care, and somatic care. Each unit has a kitchen, dining room/living room, and outdoor access. Pelarsalen is a meeting place where our activity coordinators organize activities based on residents' wishes. Here we celebrate birthdays, traditions, and arrange various celebrations—all so our elderly experience a Good Life – Every day.
