Your work responsibilities are based on Kalmarsalen offering events year-round and being an attractive venue for both organizers and visitors. Overall, this includes: · On-site responsibility during events - prepare the arena, welcome production, coordinate event staff, staff the ticket booth, and be responsible for visitor comfort and safety. · Results responsibility and financial monitoring for the events business area. · Manage the booking calendar and all contact with organizers and booking agencies. · Create quotes, negotiate via email or phone, and manage contracts for bookings. · Meet the requirements of different productions and ensure they feel well taken care of at the arena. · Responsible for KS event staff - scheduling, communication, and well-being. · Contact with and orders from subcontractors, for example regarding technical aspects and safety. · Handle marketing to ticket customers via social media and newsletters. When am I expected to work? Your working hours vary between day, evening, and weekends. Everything depends on the event calendar and administrative tasks such as riders and settlements. The schedule is arranged based on the operations' needs. What do I need to bring to this role? · You need to be comfortable planning your work and driving yourself forward. · You need to be able to express yourself well in speech and writing as you will be our face to the organizing community in Sweden. · Experience with corporate contact is an advantage but the main thing is that you are used to interacting with people at work. · Experience from the events industry is a merit. · Interest in music may make the job more fun, but the ability to think economically and manage projects is even more important. · B-driver's license and access to your own car. · Master Swedish and English in speech and writing. A computer and mobile phone are included in the position. Employment type Parental leave substitute, full-time. We would like training to begin in some form by late October at the latest. The substitute position starts full-time from November 1, 2026, or by agreement. We apply Visita's collective agreement and salary is set individually.
