Job Description We are looking for you to work as a substitute teacher during the fall and spring terms, where you will contribute to continuity and security in instruction when regular teachers are absent. During parts of the employment, you will cover for shorter absences, such as during illness but also for planned absences such as training. This means you need to be able to quickly familiarize yourself with different lesson plans, meet several student groups, and teach in different subjects and grade levels. Your main work tasks will be: Conduct lessons according to existing plans, with a focus on mathematics, science, and practical/aesthetic subjects, though other subjects may also occur. Quickly familiarize yourself with new student groups, subjects, and lesson plans. Work closely with the teaching team and subject colleagues to ensure that instruction maintains high quality. Follow up and document completed lessons and any incidents during the day. Create a structured and secure learning environment for students. Qualifications We are primarily looking for a certified teacher with authorization to teach in grades 4–6, or someone who is currently pursuing teacher education. We also encourage you who have previous work experience but lack formal qualifications to apply. Since the assignment may involve teaching several different subjects, broad subject qualifications are particularly valuable. As a person, you are flexible and comfortable with the fact that work tasks may vary based on the organization's needs. You find it easy to quickly adapt to new teaching situations and easily create structure, security, and good relationships in different student groups. To succeed in the role, you need to be a clear pedagogical leader for the students, with good organization and a responsible approach. You have well-developed collaboration skills and work solution-focused with flexibility. Through a low-pressure approach, you create a positive study atmosphere where students are challenged and inspired to reach their full potential—both academically and socially. In your work, students are always at the center. You are curious and motivated to find individual paths to success for each student, regardless of their circumstances.
