Östlyckeskolan, located near the city center, is a well-established secondary school with approximately 420 students. The school, which has existed since the 1960s, is located in the Östlyckan district. It has large common spaces, a student café, music room, auditorium, a large gymnasium, and two smaller halls. WORK DUTIES In your role as a teacher, you will teach students in grades 7-9, and teaching in special support groups may also occur. Beyond teaching, you share responsibility with other teachers for creating alignment in instruction. As a primary school teacher, you are well grounded in the primary school's mission and actively participate in pedagogical development work and collegial learning processes. In collaboration with other educators in your work team, you will plan, implement, and follow up on instruction based on the curriculum. The position includes creating conditions and motivation for each child's learning and development. Together with your work and subject team, you are responsible for students' academic and social development. Your daily work is characterized by the values and approaches described in Alingsås Municipality's value foundation. QUALIFICATIONS Requirements for the position: • Teacher certification for instruction in Physical Education and Health up to grade 9 Meriting factors: • Good knowledge of the curriculum and documents governing school operations • Previous professional experience in similar roles Personal qualities: We are looking for someone who is confident, organized, and has a strong ability to collaborate.
