The Meals Unit is a comprehensive operation that produces and serves meals to guests of all ages. The operation consists of a number of preparation kitchens and serving kitchens distributed across the municipality. In our kitchens, approximately 85 people work, distributed across 32 workplaces. Description Are you passionate about good food cooked from scratch with extra care and with the goal of providing the best possible service? As a chef in our kitchens, you prepare meals and special diets with enthusiasm for our customers. We work with quality ingredients, create conditions for development and give you the opportunity to gain broad experience from our kitchens. Work tasks include cooking, traditional and special diet cooking as well as all other tasks that occur in the kitchen. Qualifications We are primarily looking for someone who has chef training, is a chef or has professional experience that is deemed equivalent. Knowledge of special diets is a merit. Orders may occur, for which computer skills are a must. A category B driving license is a requirement. As a chef with pool service at the Meals Unit in Laholm Municipality, you are offered varied work with great responsibility. You will be placed in a home kitchen and when needed you will work out in the operation. Both acute and planned absences are covered by the pool service and you are available for all kitchens in Laholm Municipality, including schools, preschools and elderly care facilities. Terms Salary range for the position for 2026 salary setting: Minimum 30,000 Average 33,735 Maximum 39,800 kr/month. Salary is affected by experience and knowledge.
