Substitute CBT Psychologist for Open Care Young Adults at SCÄ

We are now seeking a psychologist for a one-year substitute position at our open care clinic for Young Adults. With us you will have the opportunity to work with qualified treatment within specialist psychiatry and together with a dedicated multidisciplinary team make a difference for our patients. Stockholm Center for Eating Disorders (SCÄ) is one of the world's largest specialist clinics for patients with eating disorders and receives patients of all ages. We have a well-developed operation with digital care, open care, intensive open care, day care, inpatient care and nationally specialized care for both adults, children and adolescents. Open Care for Young Adults is a unit that treats patients aged 16 to 22 years with eating disorder issues and in some cases other psychiatric comorbidities. Our clinic works from a holistic perspective and offers evidence-based CBT-E treatment, which is a special treatment method designed for patients with eating disorder diagnoses. Treatment can take place individually, in groups and with members of the patient's network and family. You will encounter a broad spectrum of diagnoses, which makes the work stimulating and educational. The work involves treatment of eating disorders and other psychiatric diagnoses. The position includes patient contact, administrative tasks and collaboration with care partners. We want to collaborate closely within our multidisciplinary team which consists of doctors, psychologists, nurses, physical therapists and dietitians. What do we offer you? It is a great advantage if you are skilled in behavior analysis and perhaps other evidence-based treatment protocols, as certain adaptations may need to be made. Work tasks: Your main work tasks will be to conduct psychological treatment work primarily individually, but possibly also in groups. The work tasks also include clinical assessments and collaboration with other SCÄ units such as open care for children and with inpatient care. You will participate in treatment conferences, supervision and method development together with other staff at the unit. Employment type: Substitute position for 1 year. Full-time, 40 hours/week. Qualifications: You are a licensed psychologist with CBT orientation. It is meritorious if you are a senior psychologist with experience in eating disorder care, CBT-E, clinical. Personal qualities: You have a strong interest in evidence-based care, have good collaboration skills, are responsible, efficient and passionate about developing as a psychologist. You are empathetic and confident in meeting people with disabling psychiatric issues. Curiosity and ability to find solutions are important qualities.
