We are now seeking an Engineer/Technician in Facility Information for a substitute position based in either Kiruna, Malmberget, or Luleå. Your role We are seeking a Substitute Engineer/Technician in Facility Information who wants to contribute to a structured and reliable information environment at LKAB. In this role, you will be an important part of our work maintaining high quality of technical facility information – a central component for efficient operations and maintenance in our business. You will also work on development in this area. As an Engineer/Technician in Facility Information, you work in a dedicated team where you are responsible for managing and developing information, structures, regulations, and system support for these. You ensure that the right requirements are set and that information is current, traceable, and accessible in our systems. Your main responsibilities: Manage and develop LKAB's documentation regulations, including routines, guidelines, and instructions Ensure uniform information structures for documentation in our systems Administer information flows and ensure that routines work in practice Handle ongoing matters within documentation and contribute to order and organization in the documentation environment Work on continuous improvements and contribute to development projects Build networks with various stakeholders in the business to strengthen the support function's role and relevance Follow developments in the documentation field, both internally and externally Here you will have a central role in ensuring that facility information is collected, traceable, and easily accessible – an important contribution that strengthens our technical management & development and long-term sustainability. You will be part of LKAB's digitalization journey and work closely with the business to support and develop their approaches to facility information. By creating clearer processes and structures, you help our colleagues succeed with their information management. Your competence and areas of interest will influence the direction and development of the role. The position can be placed in Luleå, Kiruna, or Malmberget. Regardless of placement location, you work closely with colleagues in technical administration and have contact points with operations throughout the LKAB Group. The role gives you the opportunity to contribute to the development of facility information that supports safe, efficient, and sustainable operations. What you bring We believe that you are either recently graduated from college or university, or have had time to gain some experience after graduation. You are curious, communicative, and enjoy collaborating. With a structured work approach, interest in business development, and the ability to build good relationships, you help drive the work forward. You see opportunities in change, are motivated by new challenges, and like to transform ideas into results together with others. For this role, you will be offered training and knowledge transfer tailored to the position. LKAB is supported by an external company in training in this field. Beyond that, you need to have: A degree as a civil engineer, engineering technician, or polytechnic engineer. We are open to several technical fields, such as mechanical engineering, electrical & automation, construction, or maintenance. Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written B-class driver's license, which is a requirement for all positions at LKAB We warmly welcome your application!
