Substitute Preschool Teacher for Söderhamns Municipality

Your Assignment We are seeking several committed and licensed preschool teachers for temporary positions at preschools in central Söderhamn. The temporary positions run through June 24, 2027, and offer the opportunity to contribute to children's development, learning, and well-being in preschool over an extended period. As a preschool teacher, you are responsible, together with your team colleagues, for education and instruction based on the preschool curriculum and other governing documents. You plan, implement, document, and follow up on instruction with the children's interests, needs, and circumstances as your starting point. Through pedagogical documentation, reflection, and analysis, you contribute to developing both children's learning processes and the quality of the program. We work systematically with quality development and have strong confidence that good results are created through collaboration, participation, and a professional approach. Children's play, curiosity, influence, and language development are important parts of the instruction. Cooperation with guardians is an integral part of the assignment, and we see relationships as the foundation for creating security, learning, and development. Your Qualifications We are looking for you who are a licensed preschool teacher and who have good knowledge of the preschool curriculum, school law, and other governing documents. You have experience planning, implementing, and following up on instruction, and you view pedagogical documentation as an important tool in systematic quality work. You have a clear child focus and meet each child with respect, attentiveness, and confidence in their abilities. You are secure in your professional role and have the ability to build positive relationships with children, guardians, and colleagues. As a person, you are flexible, responsible, and solution-oriented. You collaborate easily, see possibilities in change, and contribute to a positive work environment. We are looking for you who have a genuine commitment to children's learning and development and a desire to continue developing high-quality education together with your colleagues.
