In each work team, at least one preschool teacher and one to two childcare assistants work together. Within the preschool area there is also a special education teacher, a principal and two assistant principals. The assistant principals are the immediate supervisors for two preschools each. We encourage you to read more about our benefits here. Your role Education in preschool should lay the foundation for lifelong learning and be fun, safe and educational for all children. The education should be based on a holistic view of children's needs, where care, development and learning form a unity. In collaboration with families, the preschool should promote children's development into active, creative, competent and responsible people and members of society. As a preschool teacher within Järva District Administration, you work based on current legislation as well as municipal and national guidance documents. Your tasks include, among others: leading and being responsible for instruction so that the curriculum's goals and intentions are met being responsible for the pedagogical content in the instruction that the work team implements together stimulating and challenging children in their development and learning, and following up, evaluating and analyzing instruction planning and implementing education based on the responsibility specified in the curriculum. Your competence and experience We are looking for someone who has: a preschool teacher degree and valid preschool teacher license very good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written good knowledge of the Office suite experience working with children with special needs It is meritorious if you have: experience working as a preschool teacher knowledge of visual and sign support experience working in a multicultural environment experience working in Infomentor We are looking for someone who has a professional approach, takes responsibility for your assignment and actively contributes to a good work environment. You collaborate well with colleagues, take initiative and participate constructively in planning, implementation, evaluation and development of the operation. You have pedagogical insight and a clear child focus that permeates your work. You have a clear idea of how you can work together with colleagues to realize the curriculum's goals and values. You use pedagogical documentation to make children's learning processes visible and further develop them, and you actively work to develop the pedagogical environment. You have leadership skills and the ability to take responsibility for your entire assignment. You work independently, take initiative for development within your area of responsibility and create engagement and participation in your work team.
