WORK TASKS We are seeking a substitute student support assistant for one of our students who will begin grade 9 at upper secondary school. The student is cheerful and social with a great sense of humor and a twinkle in their eye. The student has a functional disability and is therefore wheelchair-bound. As a student support assistant, you will be with the student throughout the entire school day. You will support and help the student with schoolwork, but you will also need to help the student with mobility within the school area, which means the work may also involve some lifting with assistive devices. QUALIFICATIONS Do you want meaningful work where you can make a difference in a young person's daily life? We are now seeking a substitute student support assistant for a cheerful and social student with a great sense of humor and a twinkle in their eye who is starting grade 9. As a student support assistant, you follow the student throughout the entire school day and help create a safe and functioning school experience. You provide support in instruction based on the student's needs and also assist with practical tasks during the day. The student is wheelchair-bound, and the work may involve certain lifting with assistive devices. You work in close collaboration with teachers and other school staff to create the best conditions and a safe school day. Type of Employment: Fixed-term position. Duration: Start date: 2026-08-12 or by agreement. We are looking for someone who has a high school diploma, preferably with a focus on education or healthcare. You have experience working with children and young people and experience working with people with disabilities. You have good physical ability since the work involves helping the student with mobility. You also have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written. As a person, you are secure, attentive, and responsible. You have a positive attitude, are flexible, and enjoy working closely with other people. You have a natural ability to build good relationships and communicate in a clear and respectful manner. Since you follow the same student throughout the entire school day, it is important that you are stable, engaged, and have a warm approach.
