Substitute Residential Support Worker for Social Psychiatry in Nacka Municipality

This position is a full-time temporary contract for the period September 1, 2026–August 31, 2027. Your Assignment Social Psychiatry in Nacka is the municipal alternative for providing services to people with mental health disabilities. As a residential support worker, you provide individually adapted support to customers in their own homes throughout Nacka. The services are based on support decisions and implementation plans and are tailored to each customer's needs, making the work both varied and developmental. You work together with the customer to create structure, strengthen independence, and develop strategies that make daily life function better. This may include establishing routines at home, breaking social isolation, providing support with contacts with authorities, or motivating participation in employment, studies, and social community. The work is independent and you plan large parts of your workday yourself when you visit customers throughout the municipality. At the same time, you are part of an engaged team where you collaborate and support each other. Residential support also cooperates with social psychiatry's meeting places where customers are offered community and various activities. Your work tasks include, among other things: provide individually adapted residential support based on support decisions and implementation plans motivate and support customers in achieving their individual goals provide support with structure, planning, and daily routines support contacts with, for example, authorities and health care document services and follow up on implementation plans cooperate with colleagues and other professionals around the customer. Work is scheduled with day, evening, and weekend shifts. Is This You? Your Experience We are looking for someone who has: education in care and support with a focus on psychiatry or other education that the employer considers equivalent, for example a degree in social work experience working with people with mental health disabilities experience working from a motivational interview (MI) perspective good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written. It is advantageous if you have: experience in educational and/or social work, preferably in residential support or similar activities experience with digital documentation a B-class driver's license.
