About the position At Clinical Genetics and Genomics in Solna, we work to investigate patients and provide specialized expertise within our specialized disease areas. Our analyses are at the forefront of scientific development and help more patients receive an accurate diagnosis. As a biomedical analyst in our Unit Genetics Cell, you will be part of a team working with cell-based genetic analyses, such as chromosome analysis and FISH. We investigate, among other things, hematological malignancies, such as leukemia in both children and adults, infertility, and recurrent miscarriages. Our analysis results have a direct impact on patients' treatment - with us, your work makes a difference every day! Your work tasks include laboratory work as well as administrative tasks, such as sample registration and data analysis. Qualifications Requirements: Licensed biomedical analyst or other university degree that the employer deems equivalent Experience with laboratory work, preferably within clinical diagnostics Good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing Good computer skills and ability to learn new computer systems easily Meritorious: Experience working at a clinical genetic laboratory with handling of patient samples Experience with methods such as cell culture, chromosome analysis, FISH, WBC isolation, cell separation.
