We are seeking childcare workers who want to help create a safe, educational, and developmental daily environment for children at preschools in Upplands Väsby. About the Assignment Bemannia is an authorized staffing company with 35 years of experience in staffing and recruitment. We currently have an agreement with Upplands Väsby Municipality to support their municipal preschools with dedicated substitute staff. The assignment starts October 1st. Your Responsibilities As a substitute, you will replace the preschool's regular staff during absences, often of an acute nature, as well as during shorter vacancies. You need to be prepared to be booked for work on short notice, usually the same morning. Your tasks may include participating in group gatherings, assisting with meals and physical activities, and accompanying children on outings. You will help children with dressing and bathroom visits and actively participate in play both indoors and in the outdoor area. Your responsibilities also include simple practical tasks such as dishwashing and laundry, as well as checking off children upon arrival and departure. Your Qualifications Completed upper secondary education or equivalent. Trained childcare worker. Good ability to speak, write, and understand Swedish. Available for work 2 days per week. To succeed in the role of substitute at a preschool, you need good social skills, strong teamwork abilities, and enjoy working in a team with both children and preschool staff. We appreciate if you have previous experience with educational work with children. As a person, you are creative, flexible, and solutions-oriented. You have the ability to handle and resolve situations calmly and professionally, even in environments where the pace is occasionally high. You are clear and confident in your communication, can set clear boundaries, while being empathetic and responsive with an ability to build good relationships and contribute to a safe and respectful environment.
