WORK DUTIES
Care work is a varied, enjoyable, and rewarding job where you provide support and assistance to people in their daily lives. You are there to provide support and care, create security, and contribute to meaningful days.
Our operations vary depending on the needs of those who require our help. Within home care, we help people manage their daily lives in their own homes. For elderly people who need more comprehensive support and care, we have our elderly care facilities.
In these operations, your workday is filled with tasks where you assist with personal hygiene, dressing, medication management, cooking, shopping, cleaning, laundry, rehabilitation training, contact with relatives, etc. It also involves creating joy, motivation, and inspiration for our care recipients through, for example, walks, social time, and other activities.
For people with physical or mental disabilities, there are various workplaces in the form of group homes or residential facilities, day activities, and residential support. The target group also varies in age, as we work with both adults and children and young people with disabilities.
As an employee in such an operation, you support and motivate people with mental or intellectual disabilities in their daily lives, for example, in matters related to maintaining their home, personal hygiene, cooking, shopping, laundry, and the like. You plan, implement, or assist with various social activities, individually or in groups.
QUALIFICATIONS
We do not require any prior knowledge or work experience, but to thrive and do a good job, you need to have a genuine interest in people.
You are responsible, attentive to the individual's needs, and able to quickly adapt and prioritize according to current circumstances. We expect you to easily build relationships and that you have a respectful approach and good empathic ability.
You have a good ability to work both independently and collaborate with others.
We will consider your social skills and your willingness to learn a valuable profession. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
It is advantageous if you have completed or are pursuing education in the healthcare and care program, nursing program, or other appropriate care education.
It is also advantageous if you have work experience in care work. If you have also worked with us previously and have good references, that is also advantageous.
In all areas, you need to have a good command of Swedish language in speech and writing and be open to delegated responsibility for medication. You should have good computer skills as we work with electronic documentation.
To work in our operations, you must be 18 years old.
A category B driver's license is required for work within home care and support for people with disabilities. Please indicate in your application if you have a driver's license.
Type of employment: Fixed-term employment.
Duration: 6 months or longer, start date: Start date by agreement based on the operations' need for substitutes. In our questionnaire, you answer when you would like to start work.
In the questionnaire attached to the application, you answer, among other things, whether you want to work full-time or part-time, day or night, and what type of operation you prefer to work in. You also indicate when you would like to start work.
