WORK TASKS
As a facilities manager, you are responsible for creating and maintaining a pleasant, clean and hygienic environment at Tärendö School, which includes both primary school and preschool.
Your main tasks consist of daily cleaning, thorough cleaning, window washing, laundry and floor care. The position also includes preparing and serving breakfast and snacks for the preschool and after-school program.
The work involves contact with children, students and staff, which requires service-oriented and professional conduct.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for someone with a service-oriented approach who feels confident in your professional role. You have a strong commitment to your work and enjoy contributing to a pleasant and well-functioning environment for children, students and staff.
You enjoy collaborating with others, but also have the ability to work independently and take responsibility for your tasks. You are communicative, flexible and adapt well when circumstances change.
Since the work involves freedom with responsibility, you need to be organized and able to plan and prioritize your tasks independently. You are thorough, environmentally and quality-conscious and have a good attitude toward the people you meet in your work.
Experience in facilities management and/or work with food and meals is a merit.

Pajala Municipality applies individual and differentiated salary setting. This means that the salary is set based on applicable collective agreement general provisions including appendices and the municipality's salary policy. Upon new employment, an individual assessment of the salary is made based on the requirements of the position. Within the Swedish Municipal Workers' Union agreement area, the minimum starting salary is 23,638 kr. For employees with vocational preparatory secondary education, the starting salary is 25,798 kr.
Pajala Municipality is part of the administrative area for Meänkieli and Finnish, so knowledge of one or both of these languages is a merit.
