We are now looking for a committed substitute cleaner and food service kitchen staff member who wants to be an important part of our service operations in schools and preschools. 5 position(s). WORK TASKS As a substitute cleaner and food service kitchen staff member, you will be part of the service unit within Karlskrona Municipality's Food and Service Department. The service unit's mission is to conduct cleaning and food service kitchen operations within the municipality's schools, preschools, other activities and facilities. The unit is led by unit managers. In this role, you contribute to creating a clean, safe and pleasant environment for children, students and staff. Cleaning Services Cleaning work tasks include daily cleaning of schools, preschools and other municipal facilities. This includes, among other things: Cleaning of floors, sanitary facilities, classrooms and common areas Replenishment of hygiene products Waste management according to applicable procedures The work is carried out according to established cleaning schedules and requires that you use cleaning equipment and chemicals in a safe and correct manner. Food Service Kitchen In the food service kitchen, you work with preparing and serving meals to children and students. Work tasks include: Reception and inspection of food deliveries Handling of special diets according to given instructions Dishwashing and cleaning of kitchen areas and equipment You work closely with other kitchen staff and educators to ensure a safe, hygienic and service-oriented meal situation. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for you who have: • Documented knowledge and experience in cleaning services • Good ability to communicate in Swedish in speech and writing • B driver's license • Experience working in a kitchen and/or food service is a merit You enjoy working in a team and work actively toward common goals. Collaboration is self-evident to you, and you are happy to share your knowledge and information with colleagues. You have a flexible attitude and can compromise when the situation requires it. As a person, you are a problem solver who can analyze different situations, identify possible solutions and implement them in practical and feasible work methods. You are also service-oriented and professional in your interactions and meet colleagues, students, educators and others with respect and commitment. You have a genuine interest in people and strive to provide good service in your daily work. Since the work takes place in a school environment, you are required to provide an extract from the criminal record before employment. The employment is a fixed-term position with the possibility of extension or transition to a permanent position, depending on the needs of the operation. Employment form: Fixed-term position.
