Substitute caregiver for a wonderful 9-year-old boy

We at Noa Personal Assistance AB are now looking for a new star to join a wonderful team outside Lund. They need a new substitute who can step in as needed, during illness, and now during the summer when regular staff are on vacation. Perfect for you who want to work a bit extra. We are now looking for a warm, committed, and responsible personal assistant for a wonderful 9-year-old boy. He lives with his mom, dad, little sister, and little brother in a home filled with love, laughter, play, and sometimes quite a bit of mischief. The boy has a muscle disease (L1), hydrocephalus, and epilepsy, and has a feeding tube (gastrostomy). He receives food by being fed and gets fluids through the tube since he doesn't like drinking on his own. He wears a brace due to scoliosis, foot orthotics, and uses various aids in daily life such as a lift and standing frame. For outdoor activities, he gets around in a wheelchair. Indoors, he loves being on the floor where he can roll around, play, and have fun with his siblings. Music, dancing, and water play are some of his absolute favorite things and often fill his days with joy. As a personal assistant, you will be an important support in his daily life. The work includes helping with meals, personal care, transfers, stretching according to schedule, and participating in play and activities based on his needs and mood. On weekdays, he goes to school 8:30 a.m.-4:00 p.m. where he does not have assistant support. We are looking for you who: . Are a woman between 20-35 years old . Are positive, committed, and conscientious . Are flexible and responsible . Have a calm and reassuring approach . Are a non-smoker Previous experience with personal assistance or work with people with disabilities is a merit but not required. Great importance is placed on personal suitability. The work takes place in a home with children, which means you need to be comfortable in a family environment where there is sometimes a fast pace, play, laughter, and lively moments. Due to pet allergies in the family, it is important that you come to work with clean clothes and without pet hair. Work hours: Evenings (5 p.m.-10 p.m.), nights (10 p.m.-7:35 a.m. or 8 p.m.-8:30 a.m.), daytime/weekends (8:30 a.m.-8 p.m.) If this sounds like a job for you, you are warmly welcome to submit your application.
