Hi! We're expanding our team and are looking for an additional female caregiver. Location: Linköping (near US) Employment: hourly temp position (as needed) Start date: September 1st Schedule Needed Monday-Friday and every other weekend Monday-Friday 1 PM-10 PM, Saturday-Sunday 3 PM-10 PM About the assignment: We are looking for a female personal assistant for a wonderful 33-year-old woman living in Linköping. She lives with Huntington's and needs support in her daily life, but is also looking for someone to share her day with. She would prefer an assistant of a similar age with whom she feels comfortable and at ease. Your role will be to provide social and emotional support, someone to have coffee with, go for walks, or plan small outings together. Job duties: Personal hygiene, meal preparation, dressing and undressing, cleaning, accompanying on shopping trips, walks, medical appointments, and outings. Since she tends to forget things, you'll also need to support her in remembering things, such as at medical appointments and with shopping lists, etc. The client lives near Garnisonen. We're looking for you if you: Are a woman Are of similar age to the client (between 30-45 years old) Have a driver's license (a plus, but not required) Have a genuine interest in people Want to be part of a warm and supportive team Since she is very susceptible to infections, she prefers that the assistant does not have small children. Previous experience as a personal assistant or in care and support work is a plus but not required—personal chemistry and the desire to make a difference are what matter most.
