About the Workplace Storgatans Gruppbostad is an LSS residential facility for individuals with varying support needs. Six residents live here and receive support services under LSS 9 § 9, with assistance in their daily life at home and during leisure time. Support is provided according to each resident's individual implementation plan based on their wishes, needs, and circumstances. Temporary Care Worker – Make a Difference in People's Lives! Are you a dedicated and responsible person who wants to make a positive difference in people's lives? We are now recruiting temporary care workers for our facility. With us, you'll have the opportunity to support individuals in their daily lives and contribute to their independence, participation, and well-being. Job Responsibilities As a temporary care worker with us, you will: Support residents in their daily lives according to individual implementation plans. Motivate and support individuals in a pedagogical manner to achieve established goals. Create a safe, structured, and meaningful daily routine. Work both independently and as part of a team. Participate in leisure activities, outings, and other social occasions. Collaborate with colleagues, family members, and other professional partners. Follow workplace procedures and guidelines according to applicable legislation. Prepare shared meals and follow guidelines from the health and environmental authority. Provide support with personal care, such as hygiene, dressing, and toilet assistance. In some cases, this includes work with continence aids, requiring a safe, respectful, and professional approach with great consideration for the individual's dignity. Adapt communication to the individual's abilities, for example through clear and simple language, visual support, or other alternative communication methods (AAC). We Are Looking for Someone Who Has strong empathetic abilities and can meet each individual based on their specific needs. Has the ability to adapt your communication to the individual's cognitive and communicative capabilities. You can use clear, simple, and structured language and are open to using alternative and augmentative communication (AAC). Has patience and understanding that some residents may not have fully developed language abilities. Is curious, flexible, and adaptable in your approach. Can work independently and make decisions in everyday situations. Has good collaboration skills and contributes to a positive work environment. Has a solution-focused mindset. Can understand, speak, read, and write Swedish, as the work requires documentation and cooperation with various partners.
