Temporary Substitute at Nyckelviken Short-Term Residential Care in Nacka Municipality

Your Assignment Nyckelviken Short-Term Residential Care is a short-term residence within the LSS system for children and youth up to age 24 with intellectual disabilities. At the short-term facility, we work to create enjoyable and meaningful short-term stays. The goal is for everyone to have a meaningful leisure time based on their individual needs and circumstances. Nyckelviken consists of two single-story villas, where each child and young person has their own room. As a substitute support assistant, you will provide support and services to children and youth based on their individual needs. You will help create educational activity schedules at both individual and group levels. When possible, you will take excursions using the facility's minibus. Your role includes being a support person. You will create implementation plans, document, and participate in regular team meetings. You will also be trained in medication delegation. The position involves varied tasks, such as support and services with: Cooking, cleaning, morning and evening routines Personal care and hygiene Daily and weekly planning Contact with relatives, parents, and school At Nyckelviken Short-Term Residential Care, you will work days, evenings, and weekends. Weekday shifts are 6:30-11:30 AM or 2:30-9:30 PM, and weekend shifts may be longer. Your Experience To be considered for the position, you must have: Experience working with children in the LSS target group Computer and documentation skills Driver's license (Category B) to operate the facility's minibus is highly desirable Relevant post-secondary education is desirable Very good Swedish language skills, both spoken and written Good physical ability Your Personal Competencies Responsibility Flexibility Communication skills Teamwork ability Stress resilience Ability to understand and meet children and youth's needs We place great emphasis on your personal suitability.
