We are now seeking hourly and monthly temporary workers in personal support within the Administration for Functional Support. With us you will meet children, young people, and adults with various support needs and life situations who have challenging behavior. Your task is to create security, participation, and conditions for a meaningful everyday life based on each individual's needs and abilities. Work tasks vary between different cases but include personal care, educational support, communication support and social interaction, activities, documentation, and common household tasks. In some operations, work with medical technical aids or extensive care may occur. The tasks include medication management according to delegation. You work where the assistance user is, which means you are in the assistance user's home or at activities outside the home. Working hours are scheduled for day, evening, weekend, weekday, awake night, or sleeping on-call shifts. When you work with us as a monthly temporary worker, you will receive a monthly employment with 100% service during the employment period. You will work according to a fixed schedule planned according to the needs of the operation. Within Personal Support we work with joint planning, which means work can occur in other cases. As an hourly temporary worker, you make yourself available in our booking system when you wish to work. When need arises in the operation, our staffing planners will book you on shifts and you will be asked based on your availability. Qualifications To work as a temporary worker within functional support, you must have reached 18 years of age in accordance with regulations on the working environment for minors (AFS 2023:2 6 ch. 56, 8 §§). It is a requirement that you can demonstrate a grade in Swedish 1 or Swedish as a Second Language 1; if not, you may be offered a language test via EducateIt. It is meritorious if you have: education or ongoing education in, for example, support assistant, nursing assistant, care and welfare, pedagogy, or behavioral science experience of work within functional support, care and welfare, or personal assistance experience of working with people with challenging behaviors knowledge of low-arousal approach (LAB) and alternative and augmentative communication (AAC) experience with medical technical aids, transfer assistance, or extensive care B-category driving license We are looking for you who puts the individual in focus and treats people with respect, good conduct, and commitment. You take responsibility for your tasks and collaborate well with others. You also need to be confident in yourself and have the ability to remain calm even in pressured situations.
