Temporary Sports Facility Worker - Hisingen and Nord Unit

As a sports facility worker, you'll be part of the Hisingen & Nord unit, which consists of 13 sports facility workers, two team leaders, and one unit manager. In this role, you'll have the opportunity to work broadly with operations, maintenance, cleaning, and upkeep of facilities as well as the vehicles and machinery used. Your workdays will include qualified ice, grass, and artificial turf maintenance, as well as some facility cleaning. The unit is responsible for operating Björlandavallen, Rambergsrinken, Tuve ice hall, and multiple sports fields throughout northern Gothenburg and on Hisingen. Work hours vary between daytime, evening, and weekends. As a sports facility worker with us, solo work is common, but we appreciate that you're a team player as we're a team that shares knowledge and learns from one another. We take responsibility for both individual and shared tasks. Qualifications We're looking for someone with completed upper secondary education. A B-level driver's license, machinery experience, and skilled trades competence are requirements. The unit is responsible for maintaining ice, grass, and artificial turf at our sports facilities, and we expect you have experience in at least one of these areas. Meritorious qualifications include experience and authorization to operate vehicles and machinery such as agricultural tractors, wheel loaders (truck license C2), cylinder and rotor mowers, chainsaws, and brush cutters. We view positively a genuine interest in sports and fitness activities. It's a bonus if you also have a C and/or E-level driver's license. We therefore expect you have strong collaborative skills. The role requires you to be organized and orderly, including using time efficiently and working systematically.
