About the Operation We are now seeking a nurse for a temporary position (with the possibility of permanent employment) at Department 90 (psychiatric intensive care). Regional Adult Psychiatry Falun/Säter has a regional mandate within adult psychiatry and is responsible for the care and treatment of patients in acute psychiatric conditions. The operation is divided between Falun and Säter. In Säter, there is the region's only psychiatric emergency clinic as well as Departments 90 and 95. In Falun, there is a substance abuse center, a general psychiatric inpatient ward, LARO, and ECT services. Department 90 in Säter is directed towards patients with serious psychiatric conditions and a great need for intensive care and observation, for example in cases of psychosis and manic episodes. Many patients are cared for under the LPT (Compulsory Care Act). The department has 10 beds and high staffing around the clock. The position includes day and evening shifts as well as weekend service - every other or every third weekend. Duties As a nurse in our department, you lead and organize nursing care on the ward. You are responsible for rounds, conduct patient and family conversations, and collaborate with care partners. The role also includes participating in discharge planning as well as conducting blood draws and medication management. You collaborate with care coordinators regarding ÖPT patients. On the departments, nurses, doctors, and nursing assistants work closely together along with the treatment team (social worker, psychologist, occupational therapist).
