Our approximately 30 employees are spread across the country and work together using digital tools. We are part of the Regional Veterinarians' emergency organization and contribute with service, security, and accessibility regardless of who calls. 2 position(s). DUTIES We are now seeking two employees to strengthen our team at the emergency hotline 9900. These are temporary positions – one full-time and one at 50% for evenings/weekends until 2027/01/01. Work is conducted during irregular hours. You work from home and maintain contact with colleagues digitally. Your responsibilities include answering incoming calls during on-call shifts, coordinating cases to the rest of the emergency organization, and supporting the veterinarians on call. 9900 also handles customs matters during irregular hours. Some administrative work may occur. 9900 is staffed all irregular hours, throughout the year, including weekends and major holidays. We work as a team but also independently with ongoing contact with both animal owners and field operations staff. As a 9900 employee, you are self-motivated and take responsibility for your tasks while being a strong collaborator who values good teamwork. You are also skilled at making sound judgments and prioritizations, and have no problem making decisions based on these even in difficult situations or under time pressure. You should enjoy being part of an event-driven operation and be able to adapt to what the situation demands. As a person, you easily understand others' perspectives without absorbing their emotions. QUALIFICATIONS High school diploma or equivalent knowledge Training as an animal care worker level 2-3 or Licensed veterinary nurse, alternatively experience from veterinary care that the employer deems equivalent. Very strong computer skills and ability to use various computer systems. Very strong spoken and written Swedish. Good spoken and written English. Work experience or volunteer experience in managing people in crisis situations Work experience with simultaneous multitasking and empathetic ability, such as ambulance services, communications center, customer service, or similar work that the employer deems equivalent Experience with Regional Veterinarians' IT systems (Link, Abax, Unit4, Connect) You have previously been employed by or currently work for Regional Veterinarians. Salary form: Monthly salary. Employment type: Fixed-term contract. Duration: 3-6 months, start date: By agreement, end date: 2027-01-01. Working hours: Shift schedule. We care about our employees.
