Storviken School in Brunflo is located about 15 kilometers outside Östersund, beautifully situated near sports facilities, a swimming pool, and lovely forest areas within walking distance. The school currently has approximately 107 students in age-homogeneous classes in grades F-3. Job Responsibilities You will teach in the classroom and participate in the school's development work and other school-wide tasks. During school year 26/27, you will be the class teacher together with one other class teacher and 2 staff members from the after-school program. Both the school and after-school care actively implement the PAX value-based concept, which aims to create safety, joy, and a good study environment. We continuously develop learning for students and staff through structured, systematic quality work with student goals and results at the center. This is built on collaborative learning tailored to teachers' development needs. Great emphasis is placed on developing students' social skills so they can take responsibility for themselves and others. Qualifications We are looking for someone with a teaching degree. We see that you have strong collaboration skills, a drive for development, and that you are a calm and stable person who prioritizes students. You are attentive to the fact that many children need support in social interaction and that we adults have a clear role in supporting this work.
