Tillväxtverket is a national authority with regional presence in nine locations. The position is in the Better Rules unit, which assists the Regulatory Council in its work. Regulators are required to prepare impact assessments when creating new or amended regulations. The Regulatory Council is a special decision-making body within Tillväxtverket tasked with deciding, from a business perspective, whether the quality of impact assessments meets an acceptable level. About the role The main responsibilities of this role are to assist the council in reviewing impact assessments and developing decision proposals that are also presented orally to the council. The work also includes methodological development, guidance, and training regarding impact assessments to improve quality. Your place of work: Stockholm, Östersund, or Malmö We're looking for someone who has: - A degree from a university or college, preferably in a socially oriented field such as political science, economics, or law. - Knowledge of simplification matters within public administration. - Good knowledge of the legislative process at both EU and national levels. - Excellent ability to express yourself clearly in writing in both Swedish and English. - Extensive experience giving oral presentations and lectures. - Held positions requiring you to quickly understand different subject areas to identify effects and consequences of regulations for companies. The following is meritorious: - Knowledge of impact assessment preparation in regulatory matters according to Regulation 2024:183 on Impact Assessment. - Experience providing appropriate support in preparing impact assessments or similar documents.
