Tillväxtverket is a national agency with regional presence in nine locations. This position is in the Better Regulations unit, which supports the Regulatory Council in its work. Regulators are required to prepare impact assessments when creating new or amended regulations. The Regulatory Council is a special decision-making body at Tillväxtverket tasked with deciding—from a business perspective—whether impact assessments meet an acceptable quality level. About the Position The main responsibilities of this role are to assist the council in reviewing impact assessments and developing decision proposals that will also be presented orally to the council. The work also includes methodological development, guidance, and training regarding impact assessments to improve quality. Your work location is: Stockholm, Östersund, or Malmö We're Looking for You If You Have: A degree from a university or college, preferably in a socially oriented field such as political science, economics, or law. Knowledge of simplification issues within public administration. Strong knowledge of the legislative process at both EU and national levels. Excellent ability to express yourself clearly in writing in both Swedish and English. Extensive experience giving oral presentations and speeches. Had positions that required quickly acquiring knowledge in different subject areas to identify effects and consequences of regulations for businesses. Meriting Qualifications: Knowledge of developing impact assessments in regulation according to Regulation 2024:183 on Impact Assessment. Experience providing effective support in developing impact assessments or similar documents. As a Person, We're Looking for Someone Who Is: Thorough, analytical, independent, and results-oriented.
