In Älmhults Municipality, there are thirteen municipal preschools and one open preschool. Each child's abilities and experiences, desire and will to play and learn are the starting point for our preschools' activities. Liatorps Preschool is located in the center of Liatorp, approximately 15 kilometers north of Älmhults town center, with proximity to forest and nature. The preschool, elementary school (grades F-3), and after-school program are located in the same building. The preschool has two departments: Nyckelpigan and Fjärilen. Younger children attend Nyckelpigan, and older children attend Fjärilen. The preschool collaborates with after-school programs and to some extent with other preschools. We focus on children's safety and educate children through social community. We do this by taking advantage of children's interests, creativity, and curiosity. Children's curiosity and questions guide us further in education. The preschool's outdoor area inspires children to explore, engage in motor challenges, be creative, and find joy. We have outdoor activities every day. In our local area, we have access to a soccer field, public playground, lit tracks, a park, and a lovely forest with much more. 1 position(s). DUTIES When you work as a preschool teacher with us, you become part of a team that together creates education that stimulates and challenges all children's development and learning. We want children to feel safe and well-being during their time at preschool. You should be familiar with and work according to our curriculum and the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child, but also be familiar with the work "Kronobarnsmodellen" (Kronobarn Model) that Kronoberg municipalities and Region Kronoberg are developing working methods around. This is to create a safe and secure childhood for each child through preventive, early, and coordinated interventions. With the curriculum and other governing documents as a basis, you choose methods, content, and approach based on each child's knowledge, experience, and specific circumstances. You contribute with your knowledge and experience to develop the activities, and of course, to develop yourself as well. You collaborate to create a safe, fun, and educational preschool. As a preschool teacher, you have extended responsibility. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for you who are a licensed or newly graduated preschool teacher and who feel a strong interest in learning and developing together with the children and our colleagues.
