JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
As a temporary stage manager, you will work together with existing staff on the practical and technical coordination of events and arrangements. You will work closely with organizers, artists, associations, and colleagues to ensure that each event is executed in a professional and well-organized manner.
The position is varied and includes both administrative and technical tasks. Work sometimes takes place in the evenings and on weekends in connection with events.
• Plan and coordinate bookings of venues, stages, and arrangements.
• Serve as a contact person for organizers, artists, and associations before and during events.
• Be responsible for basic sound technology and conduct sound setup for concerts, performances, and other events.
• Handle and maintain sound, lighting, and stage equipment.
• Assist with setup and breakdown of technical and stage equipment.
• Ensure that venues and equipment are in good condition and comply with applicable safety procedures.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for you who have:
• Experience with basic sound technology and technical work in stage or event operations.
• Good administrative skills and experience with planning and booking.
• Ability to work independently and take responsibility while enjoying collaboration with others.
• Good customer service skills and professional demeanor.
• Good computer skills.
It is advantageous if you have:
• Experience working in culture or event operations.
• Knowledge of lighting technology.
• Forklift certification, lift training, or other relevant certifications.
• Class B driver's license.
Employment Type: Fixed-term employment.
Duration: 3-6 months, start date: 2026-09-01, end date: 2026-12-31.
