Job Responsibilities
In your role as a pool attendant at Vadstena Swimming Hall, you will work with pool supervision, cashier services, and facility maintenance. Work with swimming school activities may also become relevant. To thrive as a pool attendant, you should enjoy taking responsibility and be flexible as your days will consist of many different activities within the operation.
The swimming hall staff is also responsible for maintenance of the adjacent sports hall and gym. You will be part of a team that develops the swimming hall's operations, so it is of great importance that you enjoy shaping and planning work together with colleagues.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone interested in working at our swimming hall as a pool attendant where cashier services and facility maintenance are included.
It is a requirement that you can swim; before employment, a swimming test will be conducted. The swimming test corresponds to the Gold Badge level and is divided into two parts and includes, among other things, swimming 100 meters in freestyle followed by 50 meters of swimming with a rescue buoy followed by 50 meters of towing a similarly-sized colleague with a rescue buoy. The test is conducted with a maximum time limit.
It is advantageous if you have experience as a pool attendant or have previously worked as a swimming instructor or swimming instructor assistant. Experience in service and cashier work is advantageous. The position involves contact with schools and visitors, so you must be able to express yourself in Swedish and English. It is desirable if you are trained and have knowledge in cardiopulmonary resuscitation; if you do not have this, you will receive training in this area.
