Welcome to us We are now recruiting 2 Unit Managers for parental leave positions in group and service housing and daily activities for the Department of Disabilities and Social Psychiatry. With us, we strive to provide good support and service every day to people with disabilities. The department currently manages 30 group and service housing units and 14 daily activity programs within LSS. The department also manages social psychiatry, administrative functions and personal assistance, with a total of 54 different operations, making us one of Sweden's largest municipal service providers operating in-house. This means you have unified responsibility for operations, personnel and budget. As a manager and leader with us, you are expected to consider the best interests of the entire organization in your actions and decisions. You are proactive, adaptive and driven in development work. You will work in the management team in close collaboration with your colleagues and your collaboration should be characterized by humility and openness. In your role you will, among other things, be responsible for monitoring the budget through forecasts and working with operational planning and follow-up, and leading and coaching the most important resource we have – our employees. As a unit manager you report directly to the department manager. Your competence We are looking for you who have • university degree as a social worker or other education that the employer considers equivalent • management experience within disability services or social psychiatry • current experience of budget, operational and personnel responsibility • good experience in change management • good knowledge of relevant legislation and other regulations such as LSS, HSL as well as experience in labor collaboration • good ability to express yourself in Swedish in speech and writing.
