Business Description Myran Preschool has four departments with 18 children in groups aged 1–5 years. The preschool is pleasantly located in a quiet residential area where the preschool yard is large with excellent play areas and the forest is just outside the fence. Work Tasks Work as a childcare worker involves you working together with the team to create a safe and educational environment for the children in the preschool's department. The curriculum guidelines describe the responsibility you have in the team when it comes to developing, monitoring and evaluating activities and education. As a childcare worker, you are part of a team and participate in planning, implementing and evaluating the teaching offered to the children. In collaboration with the team, children should be given new challenges and receive support and stimulation in their social development. Qualifications Experience working in preschool, childcare worker training or other experience that the employer considers appropriate. Proficiency in Swedish in speech and writing. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability. Under the national minority language law, Gällivare Municipality is an administrative municipality for Sámi, Meänkieli and Finnish. Knowledge of any of these languages is an advantage when applying for employment in Gällivare Municipality.
