Förskolan Triangeln is part of the North preschool area and has four departments. Two departments for ages 1–3 and two for ages 3–6, where trained preschool teachers and child care assistants work. The departments with older children collaborate to some extent with each other through cross-group activities one day a week. The preschool is located in the middle of Fors and has a varied outdoor yard with forest, grassy areas, asphalt, and access to both structured and unstructured materials. 1 position(s). Description of Duties As a child care assistant at Förskolan Triangeln, you participate in ensuring that work is conducted in accordance with our governing documents. You will work to ensure that the education provides each child with the opportunity to develop according to their abilities. This means you will plan, implement, follow up, evaluate, and document the preschool's activities. Certain responsibility regarding a child with diabetes may be added, though main responsibility currently lies with other colleagues. You are present and actively play with the children. You should be close to the child at the child's level, which requires you to be able to switch between sitting on the floor and quickly being on your feet again. You have daily meetings/contact with guardians, you can conduct development discussions and parent meetings. You write and document education digitally. You have colleagues both in your work team, at the preschool, and in the preschool area. You collaborate, reflect, and exchange experiences with each other in various forums. You follow the procedures, rules, expectations, and agreements that exist. You have a good approach and treat everyone respectfully. Qualifications You have completed a child care assistant education and have received a passing grade in the courses included in it. You should have basic ability to handle digital tools such as computers, tablets, smartphones, projectors, etc. You should be able to write/save/retrieve documents, use email, search for information, be knowledgeable in image handling, fill in templates, retrieve and store information in various systems. It is desirable that you have training in Guiding Interaction Step 1 as well as diabetes education. You are confident, stable, and have good self-awareness. You can see relationships in their proper perspective and distinguish between the personal and the professional. You adapt your approach to the situation at hand. You can work well with other people and relate to them in a responsive and flexible way. You listen, communicate, and resolve conflicts in a constructive manner without becoming emotional. You need to be able to see the operation from a holistic perspective, understand your role, act, and make decisions that are best for the operation. As a child care assistant at our preschools, you should be able to plan, organize, and prioritize work efficiently and adhere to the schedule and time frames that exist. You should have good judgment and be able to prioritize correctly. Your verbal and written communication should be clear and well-formulated in Swedish. You should be able to speak to both small and large groups but also be able to listen and receive what others communicate. You should understand how children learn and that their abilities are different, which requires you to be able to adapt to their differences. You are service-oriented and calm, attentive and accommodating in your interaction. You have interest, willingness, and the ability to help others, you can work independently, and you take responsibility for your task. Employment Type: Fixed-term employment.
