Children in preschool should receive secure education where care, development and learning form a whole. Work as a childcare worker involves you together with your work team shaping safe and developmental education for the children at the preschool. The work is challenging, exciting, creative and takes place in close collaboration with your work team and colleagues at the preschool. As a childcare worker, you are part of a work team and participate in planning, implementation and evaluation of the education offered to the children. You collaborate with your team and together you offer the children fun and educational instruction. Qualifications We are looking for you who are trained as a childcare worker or you who are studying to become a childcare worker, or alternatively other education that the employer deems equivalent. It is important: that you are familiar with our governing document, Curriculum for Preschool (Lpfö18), that you are a safe and clear leader, take initiative easily, are positive and have confidence in children's various competencies, that you care about trusting relationships with children and guardians and that you have good collaboration skills, that you use pedagogical conversations and pedagogical documentation in your work, that you use image support and TAKK (sign as alternative and complementary communication), that you are interested in developing the preschool. Very good knowledge of Swedish both in speech and writing is a prerequisite for the position. Great emphasis will be placed on personal qualities and personal suitability. Within the framework of the national minority language law, Gällivare Municipality is the administrative municipality for Sámi, Meänkieli and Finnish. Knowledge of any of these languages is meritorious in applications for employment in Gällivare Municipality.
