About the services: Our LSS services are part of our support and care division within the social administration. Support and Care consists of 12 units divided among five unit managers. Each unit also has a coordinator with pedagogical responsibility. We place great emphasis on a pedagogical approach and actively work with Professional Development to ensure that our staff have the right skills for their assignments. We are now seeking two unit managers, where one position will be responsible for our three service apartments and the other for our three group homes. Unit Manager for our service apartments: Sörgården, Gullvivan, and Åby Ängar. Our service apartments are all centrally located in Vallentuna. Together, the services have approximately 40 customers and 22 employees. Unit Manager for our group homes: Uthamra, Hammarbacken, and Västanberga. Our group homes are located in different parts of Vallentuna and together have approximately 20 customers and 36 employees. You lead with direction and courage, create conditions for staff to succeed, and drive development together with engaged colleagues. As a unit manager, you report to the operations manager within Support & Care, which is organizationally part of the social administration, and you are part of the operations management team. For us, it is important that you as a unit manager want to be active and present in the operations. This is a prerequisite for you to be able to nurture and develop relationships with staff, residents, relatives, and authorities. By being present in the operations, you can also ensure that the Municipality's values, the pedagogical framework, and applicable legislation are followed in your services. You both want and have the ability to manage and monitor the operations based on our goals and financial framework. You have budget and results responsibility and report to the operations manager and participate in their management team. Qualifications: We are looking for someone who has: Completed university education as a social worker or nurse, or education that the employer considers equivalent. Several years of experience working within LSS services. Experience in a supervisory position. Good knowledge of relevant legislation, primarily LSS and the Social Services Act (SoL). Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written. Meritorious: Experience in a management position within care and support with responsibility for personnel, work environment, and budget. Experience working in a politically governed organization. Personal qualities: You ensure that staff, processes, and resources are organized to achieve goals as efficiently as possible. You improve and increase staff competence, build manager and staff relationships, create participation with shared vision about the operations and Vallentuna Municipality. You develop, encourage innovation, learning, and create adaptation to external changes. You are the link and represent your operations and Vallentuna Municipality.
