About the Organization Furan is a non-profit association beautifully located in Bullmark and Bodbyn, outside Umeå. We offer daily activities and housing with special services for people covered by person group 1 in LSS, the Swedish Act Concerning Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments. We provide our residents with good housing where freedom and integrity prevail. The service is individually adapted so that everyone can live a life like others, regardless of functional impairment. The residences have staffing around the clock. In the daily activities, staff guide, support, and help workers based on their needs in their work tasks. The staff's approach to residents is characterized by joy and respect. As staff at Furan, you support residents with clothing shopping, dental appointments, keeping appointments, etc., but also serve as a link to society, with appointment scheduling, banking matters, and more. A meaningful leisure time is important for everyone, which we carefully integrate into our activities. Job Description As a residential counselor/work supervisor at Furan, you are a creative team member who works toward our common goals and has a good approach and attitude. Your tasks include supporting, motivating, and helping our residents in the group homes based on their individual needs in daily life. Day, evening, weekend, and on-call shifts. As a work supervisor, you work daytime Monday to Friday. Education/Experience We are looking for someone who enjoys working with people and values good treatment and approach. We are looking for someone who is secure, stable, flexible, positive, sees opportunities, and has good collaboration skills. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability. Other Terms The operations include various pets. A car and driver's license are required as our operations are located approximately 25-30 km outside Umeå.
