We are now looking for an experienced and meticulous rotary punch press operator for an established industrial company outside Hässleholm.
The company is in an expansive phase with increasing demand and many new business opportunities. The operation specializes in the development and manufacturing of technical components and solutions used across several industrial sectors, where high standards of quality and precision are an integral part of daily operations. Here, technical expertise is combined with efficient and modern production.
About the Role
In this position, you will work throughout the entire production flow and be responsible for machine operation, setup, tool and equipment configuration, as well as quality assurance, measurement, and packaging. The work is characterized by high quality standards and precision at every step.
You will be part of a team where quality and continuous improvement are in focus. The role also includes work with 5S, deviation management, and ongoing development of processes and working methods.
Who Are You?
We are looking for someone who is organized, meticulous, and has a strong quality mindset. You are curious about how processes work, have an analytical side, and enjoy finding solutions when challenges arise.
You work well in a team and approach your work unpretentiously and communicatively in a LEAN-inspired environment. At the same time, you have an interest in developing further in more technically advanced areas such as process planning and preparation.
Responsibilities
- Set up, adjust, and operate rotary punch press equipment
- Troubleshoot and resolve process and machine issues
- Perform quality inspections according to drawings and specifications
- Actively contribute to improvement initiatives regarding quality, stability, and efficiency
Background and Qualifications
- Several years of experience with rotary punch pressing
- Good technical understanding and practical experience with machine setup
- Experience troubleshooting in industrial production
- Experience working with drawings, instructions, and production documentation
- Basic computer skills in production and quality systems
- Knowledge of LEAN is a plus
Other Information
- Working hours: daytime shift; shift work may occur as needed
- Good Swedish and English, spoken and written
- Valid B-class driver's license required
