As rector, you have overall responsibility for students, staff, quality, finances and working environment. Together with the school's student welfare team, you work strategically to create good conditions for all students' learning and development. You are Innovitaskolan's representative in external contexts and contacts with authorities. You receive support from and report to the responsible school principal, and you are part of a network of rector colleagues within Innovitaskolan and Pops Academy. You also collaborate with central staff functions within Quality, Finance, HR, Legal, IT, Communications, Facilities and Marketing.
Your Profile
We are looking for an action-oriented and solution-focused school leader who thrives working operationally and development-focused. You are well versed in primary school governance documents and are experienced in working with systematic quality management, and have experience handling financial responsibility. You are perceived as a clear, trustworthy and attentive school leader with the ability to lead development work. You have the ability to plan and prioritize your time based on the needs of the operation and students. You show curiosity about the future and our world and are driven by the opportunity to make an impact. You are an entrepreneurial and driven school leader with the ability to build contacts and establish collaborations in society and business to "put the school on the map" for the benefit of students and the operation.
Requirements Profile
Experience as rector/deputy rector with personnel responsibility
Experience of financial responsibility
Experience leading school development and change management
Experience building a collaborative, trustworthy, motivating and engaging culture in the staff group
Courage to make difficult decisions, to stand by the decisions made and to make the necessary considerations to create the best possible operation for our students and staff
Meritorious
Completed or initiated state rector training
School leadership experience from primary school and after-school care
