Then we think you should become part of our team! We are now seeking assistants for a great 18-year-old guy! He is social with a good sense of humor and enjoys listening to Eddie Medusa, watching ice hockey, going to the swimming pool, and participating in activities. He also enjoys relaxing in front of the TV to unwind. He lives in the countryside outside Stöllet in his own villa. His mom, dad, and siblings also live on the property. On weekdays, school is the main focus and you as an assistant will be with him throughout the day. He has a congenital CP injury and needs assistance with all aspects of his daily living. He needs help with dressing and undressing, hygiene, communication, and mobility. He receives all nutrition through a PEG (feeding tube) and has a stoma. He requires daily stretching. He also needs daily help with coughing, which is done with the help of a cough machine. He communicates through sounds and blinking. To understand his communication, you as an assistant need to be empathetic and attentive. Experience working in healthcare is a merit but not a requirement. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability. You will receive training if offered the position. You need to be in good physical condition since the work involves some lifting and activities (lifting equipment is available). We are currently seeking a substitute with a set schedule. You who apply should be able to work day, evening, night, and weekend shifts. A driver's license and your own car are required as you cannot reach the client without a vehicle. You need to have good Swedish language skills and be able to follow instructions well. Other details: We have a collective agreement and individual salary setting.
