About the Position Are you a detail-oriented and solutions-focused person with experience in welding and industrial production? We are now recruiting several team members for our client located just outside Uppsala for both manual welding and robotic welding positions. As a welder, you will work with the manufacturing and joining of various types of steel structures. You work from drawings and instructions and are responsible for ensuring that the work maintains high quality. We would like to see that you have: -Experience with MIG/MAG welding -Good habit of reading drawings -Understanding of welding symbols and tolerances -Experience working with different materials and dimensions -Ability to independently set up and adjust welding equipment -Attention to quality, measurements, and details -Industrial experience and familiarity with working according to instructions As a robotic welder, you work close to production and are responsible for ensuring that robotic cells and machines produce according to set requirements. The role suits you if you enjoy technology, problem-solving, and working with quality and efficiency. Your work tasks may include: -Operating and monitoring robotic welding cells -Loading and unloading parts -Setting and adjusting machines -Inspecting welding results and product quality -Performing basic troubleshooting and corrections -Measuring and inspecting parts against drawings and specifications -Performing ongoing quality control -Documenting production and deviations -Working on improvements in work methods, quality, and productivity Experience with robotic welding, programming, or adjustment of welding robots is a merit, but experience as a machine operator or from other automated production is also of interest. Your Profile We are looking for someone who is engaged, detail-oriented, and responsible and who enjoys working both independently and together with others. You have a good understanding of the importance of quality and safety in daily work and are committed to always delivering careful and well-executed work. We would like to see that you have industrial experience in welding, production, or machining as well as a technical interest and good understanding of machines and production processes. You are quality-conscious, have the ability to read and understand drawings, and work in a structured and careful manner. The ability to identify and solve problems efficiently is an important part of the role, as is having a good work ethic and a desire to develop. A forklift certificate, traverse certificate, or other relevant credentials are merits.
