This could be the role for you! We're now recruiting an Edge Press Operator for our client, just outside Jönköping. This is a direct placement, meaning you'll be employed directly by our client. We manage the entire recruitment process, but your employment will be with the company. As an Edge Press Operator, you'll work with programming and operating edge presses to manufacture sheet metal parts. You're responsible for maintaining high production quality and ensuring all work follows specifications and drawings. The role involves close collaboration with production colleagues and is ideal for someone who thrives in a practical and varied work environment. The position involves: *Programming and setting up edge presses *Bending sheet metal according to drawings *Quality control to ensure parts meet customer requirements *Machine rigging and changeovers *Basic maintenance and servicing of machines *Actively contributing to a safe, efficient, and well-organized workplace Qualifications We believe you'll thrive in this role if you're a responsible, solution-oriented person with a technical interest and a passion for precision work. You work independently but also collaborate well with others. We'd like to see that you have: *Training in workshop, industrial, or technical fields, or equivalent work experience *Experience as an Edge Press Operator or similar manufacturing work (desirable but not required) *Ability to read and interpret technical drawings *Experience setting up machines and configuring programs *Good computer skills *Strong Swedish language skills, both spoken and written We place great emphasis on your personal qualities.
