Within the Social Care Administration, approximately 1,200 committed employees work to provide support and care to those in need in our municipality. Work is conducted within elderly care, home care, disability services, and social psychiatry, as well as individual and family care. 2 position(s). JOB RESPONSIBILITIES We are now seeking two physical therapists with different assignments. One of the positions is a new expansion as our unit grows. The other position has a special focus on Disability Services and Social Psychiatry (FoS). In this role, you'll work with individuals over 20 years old with physical and/or mental disabilities within LSS activities, day activities, and regular housing. In Ystad Municipality, you'll have the opportunity to promote activity, participation, and independence for individuals in municipal care and health services. Together with an occupational therapist, you'll have overall responsibility for rehabilitation in regular and special housing. Your tasks will include conducting training, prescribing assistive devices, and instructing staff and family members. We offer stimulating and varied work where collaboration is essential. As a new physical therapist, you'll receive support from an experienced colleague who will serve as your mentor throughout your introduction. This mentorship gives you the opportunity to develop in your professional role, receive guidance in daily work, and become part of the team in a secure and sustainable way. QUALIFICATIONS We're looking for you if you meet all requirements: • Licensed physical therapist. • Strong ability to express yourself in Swedish, both orally and in writing. • B driving license for manual transmission cars. Beyond this, we're seeking someone with a genuine interest in rehabilitation, activity, and participation. You have good planning and organizational skills, enjoy working in teams, and see possibilities in change. You want to contribute to developing the municipal primary care approach in line with the Close-to-Home Care vision. Since documentation is an important part of the work, you also have good computer skills. It is an advantage if you have experience with documentation in Lifecare HSL, Myloc, and Mina planer.
