Täppan is a dementia residential facility with five units. We work with individuals living with dementia and place great emphasis on safety, participation, and meaningful daily life. About the Role As a nursing assistant with us, you play a crucial role in creating a safe and stimulating environment for our customers. You work with a person-centered approach and take into account each customer's individual needs, wishes, and circumstances. Working in a dementia residential facility requires attentiveness, patience, and understanding of the individual. You need to be able to create a sense of security even when daily life may feel confusing or difficult for the customer. Creating a positive and social atmosphere during meals is an important part of your role, as is contributing to activities and other elements that enrich daily life. Your work tasks include, among others: Personal care according to facility routines based on the customer's individual needs and wishes Work with a person-centered approach and create security and continuity for our customers Contribute to activities and meaningful daily life, both in the unit and in our beautiful courtyard Assist with meals, cleaning, and laundry as needed Perform documentation and work according to agreed measures and implementation plans Perform delegated health and care tasks Collaborate with external and internal contacts such as family members, legal guardians, nurses, and rehabilitation staff Who Are You? Qualifications Requirements: Nursing assistant training Professional certificate from the Swedish National Board of Health and Welfare or documentation from a current/previous employer regarding permanent employment as a nursing assistant Strong knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written Good computer skills/computer experience Merits: Experience working in dementia care Dementia training or other relevant further education in dementia Experience in elderly care Experience with delegated health and care tasks What Can We Offer You?
