We at Attendo are now seeking a nursing assistant for Hovsjövägen in Södertälje. Attendo Hovsjövägen is a modern and pleasant elderly care home with the concept of Culture & Entertainment. It is located near beautiful natural surroundings and has a lovely garden. The facility has 54 apartments, of which 18 are for somatic care and 36 are for dementia care. About the role As a nursing assistant with us, you play a crucial role in creating a safe and stimulating environment for our customers. You are responsible for providing good care and assistance to our customers. Creating a positive and social atmosphere during meals is a major part of your role, as well as being able to contribute with various activities that enrich the daily lives of our elderly residents. Your work tasks include: - Personal care according to the facility's routines based on the customer's individual needs and preferences - When needed, help with preparing, cooking and serving meals, cleaning, laundry, etc. - Perform documentation and work based on decided interventions - Collaborate with external and internal contacts such as guardians, relatives, residents, nurses and rehabilitation staff Who are you? You are passionate about caring for the elderly, see the individual's needs and are engaged with their loved ones. Qualifications Requirements: - Nursing assistant education of at least 1350 credits - Professional certificate from the National Board of Health and Welfare or reference from current/previous employer regarding permanent employment as a nursing assistant - Good knowledge of Swedish language in both speech and writing (B2) - Good computer skills/experience - Driver's license category B Meritorious: - Experience from care work in elderly care - Experience with delegation What can we offer you?
