About the position:
In your role as a property caretaker, you'll be an important part of our area team – a group that works closely together to make sure daily life runs smoothly for our tenants. You'll be out in the yard, fix things in the laundry room, talk with residents about things like waste management, and take care of both big and small tasks. This is a role for someone who enjoys collaborating, taking responsibility, and helping create a pleasant and well-maintained environment where our tenants truly feel at home.
Your main responsibilities include:
Maintenance of external and internal common areas
Cleaning of stairwells and common spaces
Maintenance of green areas and equipment
Waste management
Snow removal, both manual shoveling and machine plowing
Performing minor repairs in common areas
Participating in winter preparedness during season according to applicable agreements
Participating in and leading tenant meetings and tenant orientations
Requirements for the position:
Class B driver's license
Documented experience with the main responsibilities
Experience operating equipment such as tractors, ride-on mowers, and other small machinery
Meritorious if you have experience with planting and knowledge of green space maintenance
Who are you?
We're looking for someone who has worked with property maintenance and is experienced with tasks like facility cleaning, green space care, and other property services. Additionally, we see that you have experience operating machinery and the right qualifications, such as a wheel loader certification.
