About the Position We are now seeking a committed property manager for direct recruitment with our client. The position begins with a 6-month probationary period, and start date is by agreement. You will be responsible for a number of properties where you ensure that both the interior and exterior environments maintain a high standard. Job Responsibilities As a property manager, you work with the operation, maintenance, and service of properties. A typical workday includes the care of outdoor areas such as grass cutting, raking, and snow removal, while you perform ongoing maintenance and repairs in the properties. You also handle service requests and fault reports from tenants, which may involve replacing or repairing faucets, seals, sinks, and toilets. The role also includes overseeing the functions and systems of the properties. If you have experience with ventilation, plumbing, or electrical work, that is an asset. We're Looking for You We are looking for someone with experience in property management or similar work. The work involves: • Performing minor repairs, such as replacing light bulbs, door handles, and locks. Caring for outdoor areas, such as grass cutting, snow removal, sanding, and hedge trimming. • Overseeing the property's technical systems, such as heating, ventilation, and water. • Fault reports – receive, assess, and address minor issues and order contractors. • Maintaining common areas such as stairwells, laundry rooms, storage areas, and garages. • Waste management and ensuring that refuse rooms are kept clean and functional. • Contact with tenants and providing service for inquiries and problems. • Conducting regular safety rounds and checking that fire protection and emergency equipment are functional. Document completed work and report major defects and maintenance needs. • You have a Class B driver's license and are comfortable working independently. As a person, you are social and communicative and enjoy interacting with people, as you meet tenants daily and serve as the company's face to the outside. You are responsible, professional, driven, and flexible in your approach, and have a solution-oriented mindset.
