As a Field Worker with us, you'll have a varied day where you and your colleagues are responsible for ensuring the airport's grounds are safe, well-maintained, and ready for operations, regardless of season. What does the role involve? In this role, you're an important part of the airport's operational activities and contribute to keeping our grounds safe, functional, and well-maintained year-round. The work is varied and alternates between planned maintenance operations, daily inspections, and urgent measures. The role includes, among other things: Maintain and care for the airport's grounds through tasks such as grass cutting, vegetation clearing, cleaning, and minor repair work Conduct operational inspections of the airport's grounds, for example regarding wildlife presence, runway lights, and fencing Refuel aircraft Perform snow removal during the winter season The role involves shift work, working two weekends per month, and potentially night shifts as needed. Who are you? We're looking for someone who enjoys practical and varied work where you take your own responsibility and have the ability to see what needs to be done. You are self-driven, initiative-taking, and collaborate well with others. Since operational conditions can change on short notice, you are flexible and prepared to adapt to changes such as weather conditions or extended operating hours. We also see that you have: Class C driver's license Experience operating and working with heavy machinery Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written (language test conducted at the end of the recruitment process) It is a merit if you have: YKB (Professional Competence Certificate) for heavy traffic on public roads Hunting license Experience with snow removal or other winter maintenance What do we offer you?
